Karen Millen
Autumn 2018

Jakarta, 11 July 2018

The AW18 Karen Millen collection sees luxury separates and smart dressing come to the fore. Both on and off-duty are re-imagined, trends are covered in a vibrant myriad of colourways, prints and fabrications.

Transitional autumn dressing is inspired by long Indian summers, with a colour palette of orange, blue and pink, tempered by white and nude. Cottons and georgettes feature colour pop limes and tangerine on tee’s, micro knits and playful dresses, while standout summer leopard print clashes bold, bright tones.

True autumn sees leather take the lead, rich hues of mulberry, merlot and khaki are highlighted with soft pink and cream hues. The trench remains a staple, refreshed in a wrap-belted longline style in versatile tones. Jackets are tailored in black, check or leather. A longline biker is a particular highlight; a classic with a contemporary twist.

Knitwear is a stylish wardrobe builder, while blouses with twists, drapes, gathers and volume sleeves are wardrobe heroes for work and weekend. Dresses offer versatility in micro checks, stripes, colour blocking and floral prints.

The season’s first ‘dress-up’ collection is polished and elevated, curated with a tight edit of black, red and pink. The classic LBD takes centre stage, with five unique and striking designs to suit every woman. Contemporary sophistication comes courtesy of a sleek tux dress with an impeccably tailored silhouette.

Our Atelier collection showcases the very best of our brand, with the finest fabrics and couture-inspired techniques. Ultra-luxurious, the new collection pushes the boundaries with statement and forever pieces crafted in rich blues, green, white, black and metallics.

Leopard print is a focal point, upgraded in opulent pale gold and shimmering green jacquard, or printed on silk dresses and jumpsuits. A bottle-green shearling coat is the hero of the collection.

High-octane dresses feature drapes, fringing and bespoke metalwork with a pleated green sequin maxi is perfectly layered under a sleek tuxedo jacket and paired with a crystal-encrusted shoe.
