Mothercare Launches the Latest Liunic Doodle Verse Collection, an Exclusive Collaboration with Local Illustrator Martcellia Liunic

This time, Mothercare Indonesia shows its commitment to supporting parents through its latest exclusive collaboration with renowned Indonesian local illustrator, Martcellia Liunic. This collaboration combines Mothercare’s dedication to safety, comfort, and product quality with Liunic’s imaginative, colorful and playful artistic style.

Martcellia Liunic is a Jakarta-based artist known for her colorful, cheerful, and distinctive illustration style. She combines abstract forms with animal characters and whimsical elements. Through her work, Martcellia Liunic shares, “One of my goals has always been to bring joy and evoke the emotional essence of childhood, creating a visual world that feels friendly and playful. Through this collaboration with Mothercare, I hope this artwork can capture the essence of childhood joy and purity. For this collaboration, I’ve created four exclusive patterns designed specifically for this project, adding new characters familiar with and liked by children, such as butterflies, foxes, unicorns, and dinosaurs. On the other hand, this is a new story from our collaboration, as it supports children’s creativity from an early age, even from birth.”

The four exclusive patterns from this collaboration are applied to various trendy clothing designs, such as balloon skirts, jorts (jeans shorts), and skorts (skirt-shorts), allowing children to look stylish while staying comfortable. This collection is available for a wide age range, from newborns to 8-year-olds, ensuring every stage of a child’s growth can enjoy the charm and creativity of Liunic’s exclusive designs for Mothercare.

As part of the Liunic collection launch at Mothercare, a special fashion show was also held to present the various products from this collaboration. The show brought the designs to life in a vibrant and lively presentation, highlighting the seamless blend of Liunic’s imaginative creations with Mothercare’s signature comfort. The event also featured young models and dancers from GetUp Edutainment, reflecting Mothercare’s support for nurturing young talents in the arts and performance industry.
