Encouraging Indonesian families to stay active and give back through a meaningful running experience

Jakarta, December 14, 2025 – Wilio, a multi-brand activewear store for children in Indonesia, successfully hosted its Family Charity Fun Run titled Miles of Smiles. Held at Pulau Satu, Senayan Park Jakarta, hundreds of participants gathered to enjoy a series of sports activities, family entertainment, and interactive activities, all wrapped in a warm and cheerful atmosphere.

The event kicked off with a 3K Fun Run participated in by families and children of various ages. After completing the run, participants explored a range of engaging activities, including yoga sessions, a pickleball area, mini soccer, a basketball zone, a shopping experience, and live performances that added to the festive atmosphere. The food festival area also became a highlight for families looking to enjoy some leisure time together.

This year, Wilio supports its commitment to inclusivity through a collaboration with Saraswati Learning Center (SLC), an inclusive educational institution for children with Down syndrome. As part of its CSR program, 20% of each ticket purchase was allocated to support educational programs and skill development programs for SLC students.

“As a company that grows alongside Indonesian families, we believe that every initiative should create a meaningful and tangible impact. The Family Charity Fun Run, Miles of Smiles, is a concrete expression of our commitment that the world of children should be a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all. Through this event, we not only encourage children to stay active but also help the community recognize that diversity is a strength. The support of all the families who participated and ran together proves that collaboration between brands, communities, and educational institutions can create real, positive change. We remain committed to delivering programs and activities that inspire, provide opportunities, and embrace every child without exception,” said Niraj Jain, CEO of PT Multitrend Indo Tbk.

The event was made possible with the support of various sponsors and partners, including Senayan Park, Saraswati Learning Center, Primaya Hospital, Indodana, Loket.com, AlloFresh, Mothercare, Early Learning Centre (ELC), Nespresso, Adidas, HEAD, Gingersnaps, Momami, Pureats, Rockstar Academy, Prambors FM, Delta FM, and Haibunda.com, all of whom played an important role in providing a complete experience for all participants.

Reshma Wijaya, Founder of Saraswati Learning Center, added, “For our children, the opportunity to participate in an inclusive space like this is incredibly meaningful. They not only participate in enjoyable activities but also feel accepted as part of the community. The support provided by Wilio helps us continue our educational programs and skill development initiatives for children with Down syndrome. On the other hand, this event opens a window for the public to see that every child, with all their uniqueness, has great potential that deserves to be appreciated and supported. We hope to see more activities like this that create safe, welcoming, and appreciative spaces for children with special needs.”

Through the Family Charity Fun Run, Miles of Smiles marks an important milestone in strengthening Wilio’s commitment to developing safe, positive, and inclusive spaces for children. The event not only provided an active and enjoyable experience for families but also encouraged the creation of an environment that values the diversity of children's abilities.

“Moving forward, Wilio will continue to bring initiatives that support children’s holistic growth, whether through sports, education, and social programs, as part of our ongoing efforts to build a more inclusive future for all children in Indonesia,” Niraj concluded.
